The SOUTH TEXAS PREMIER SOCCER ASSOCIATION was founded in 2009 and kicked off its inaugural season on September 19th with an Elite U-20 League.
The Association continued to bring unique leagues to the Valley in 2011 with the creation of the 18-and-Under League. The first season kicked off with a Summer League in May 2011 and currently continues with the inaugural 2012 Fall League.
In August 2012, the Association held its 2nd Annual Interleague All-Star Game Series. On September 8, 2012, the STXPSA inaugurated its first Boys Fall League as one of the newest offerings to the community in a continued effort to improve the level of soccer talent in the Valley.
One week later, on September 15, 2012, the STXPSA inaugurated the 18-and-Under Girls Fall League as the most recent league and category to the Association. The STXPSA now counts with 18-U Boys and Girls Leagues.
The STXPSA was created to professionalize and elevate the level of local amateur and youth soccer, as well as give Valley players exposure to the professional ranks, pro and university scouts, and provide a safe and fun environment for players, families and the community.
